How does payment processing work?
Tortoise uses Akahu (for bank payments) and Stripe (for card payments). Bank payments arrive the same day with no processing delays.
What happens if a member misses a payment?
- Members are not penalized for late payments.
- They receive an automatic notification and can resolve the issue in-app.
- If payment isn’t received, access is paused automatically (with a grace period, if enabled).
